Since 2007, I've been the organizer of what has turned out to be one of the world's largest art meetup groups. Our first Meetup had five artists ... and now there are over 8,000 members!
The group was formed to provide a welcoming and free environment for all levels of casual artists to practice their skills and explore New York City. We meet in Central Park, the city's other parks, museums, and do figure and still life sketching as well.
