Quick Burger helps out on our honeymoon
Dear Quick Burger,
My new wife and I were vacationing in Barcelona last week and after many expensive meals we wanted a quicker lunch one day. I'm writing to tell you how impressed we were with your restaurant, especially compared to the place we tried next door, Telepizza.
Telepizza was the only restaurant we visited on our entire European trip where no one spoke a word of English. Honestly, we are not presumptuously expecting everyone to be fluent. But the names of simple menu items should be understandable. They didn't even understand my wife's Spanish (everything was in Catalan.) Even pointing to items confused them and resulted in us getting wrong orders. My burger came with mayonnaise and pickles and more, which are gross. The service was also very slow.
We threw away that investment and tried again next door at Quick Burger. The staff was friendly and knew some English, but more importantly were willing to listen slowly and help us. The restaurant was very cool-looking, and the food was delicious!
Just wanted to say thanks. Hope a Quick Burger arrives in the Big Apple soon.
Best,
